Knife clutched in her hand,
Juliet hovers – wraithlike, watching.
Adam is sprawled on the couch.
Drunk. Asleep.
Just like the night he destroyed her life.
So drunk at the wheel, he couldn’t even remember.
She glides closer.
Adam’s eyes open.
He watches as she plunges the knife into his chest,
again and again,
just as she does every night.
Feeling nothing.
Adam stares at her, a deep ache in his chest.
Every day, the same ache.
Every day since that night he cannot forget.
That night he cannot remember.
She haunts him.
Juliet.
The girl whose life he stole.
