Fairy Cake

Written by:

The best thing about having a magical mother was the cooking.

Sarah‘s favourite was fairy cake.

It tasted like rainbows and made your skin glow.

There was one on the bench right now.

How could she resist?

Taking a bite she waited for the magic to take hold.

There it was, tingling in her toes….

But wait…something was wrong.

Not tingling…her skin was burning.

Her face was beetroot red!

Smoke was coming out of her ears.

Suddenly, Sarah noticed a packet on the bench.

“Troll-Away. Rid your home of those pesky trolls. Not for non-magic beings.”

Sometimes magic wasn’t fun.
